School Meals

The school is able to offer families the choice of bringing a packed lunch from home or a hot meals service provided by Dolce.  Lunches are eaten in the school hall under the supervision of our lunchtime staff.
Packed Lunches

We ask for packed lunches to be provided in a named lunchbox or bag.   As a ‘Healthy School’, we encourage parents to provide healthy, nutritious packed lunches and ask that they avoid sending nut products into school.

Hot Meals

Ashby Fields Primary School uses a catering provider called Dolce. All school meal bookings will need to be placed on your LiveKitchen account.

If you have any difficulty accessing the internet or need further assistance, please speak to the school office staff who would be pleased to help you.

Meals must be booked by the 9 am each day.  If you are very organised, these can be booked up to a term in advance.

Each meal consists of a main course (meat, vegetarian or jacket potato), vegetable side dishes, dessert or fresh fruit and fresh drinking water.

Free School Meals

If you are in receipt of certain state benefits, you may qualify for free school meals. Please contact the school office for more information.

Did you know… just registering your child for Free School Meals means that the school gets extra money?  The Government is giving money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. This funding is called a ‘Pupil Premium’. From April 2014 for every child registered for Free School Meals, the school will receive an extra £1,300 in funding. If you do think that you may be eligible please register as soon as possible to make sure your child does not miss out.
